Holiday Giving Campaign a Proud Success

On January 3, 2025, FBA-NOVA concluded its 4th annual Holiday Giving Campaign to benefit Carpenter’s Shelter, a nonprofit organization that serves Alexandria’s homeless community. 

Once again, the fundraising goal set at the outside of the drive was exceeded.  This year, contributors purchased over $3,500 worth of goods, amounting to 841 items that ranged from pre-packaged food to cold weather clothing to baby care supplies.  All told, the purchases weighed well over 500 pounds. 

Since 2021, FBA-NOVA’s Holiday Giving Campaign has facilitated the purchase of more than $11,000 worth of goods, each of which has been something specifically identified by Carpenter’s Shelter as a need among the people it serves.
