As members of the bar, we serve as guardians of justice and the rule of law, and we have a responsibility to demand and work to ensure fairness to all, no matter the color of a person’s skin. We recognize that far too often people of color are not treated with the same dignity and respect as other members of our communities.
Young Lawyers Committee
The Young Lawyers Committee (YLC) provides newer lawyers with opportunities to enhance their professional development through continuing legal education seminars, networking opportunities, and social events specifically tailored to lawyers in the first few years of their practice. The YLC also encourages pro bono and community service involvement. Lawyers of all ages welcome.
